This month I was fortunate enough to go into the studio and play bass on a new Mancie track. We recorded at Degraw Sound in Brooklyn with Ben Rice as the engineer, and Mancie friend Aaron Shadwell produced the track. Here’s a picture of me with my Gibson SG bass and Mark Feldman on drums. I ended up recording the track on a very cool American P-Bass. I’ve never played a P-Bass before! My beloved Geddy is a jazz…and I’ve always just picked a jazz bass when given the choice between the two. I. liked. it. a. lot. Imagine that??!! Anywhoo, I’ll keep you posted when the track is finished.
